"Last weekend I attended the Kissaki-Kai Late Summercamp in Belgium.
One of the seminars was teached by Don Came Sensei.
We covered flow drills.
Don Sensei starts from single techniques such as age uke, shuto uke,
show how to use them against a common attack and how to flow drill the exercise.
The techniques were to the best I ever have seen:
- simple and brutle
- analysed in every detail
- drills have a "exit"
- and there are unique
By "exit" I simply mean you can either flow to the next attack
or continue to finish the job untill the opponent is in control.
Don Sensei did not overload us with many different drills,
he rather helped us improving and improving the drills we were learning.
Every seminar, I allways look for a "magic moment" ... were I can say fantastic.
Well, Don Sensei, you did it, that was my fantastic moment!!!"
